to give her the whole thing, and if I ever hear you sing a note of that darned old B-E-S-T- best thing, I'll leave you that minute. I've had to swallow enough this winter to make me cross eyed. There! That's off my chest. I hope you see I am jealous of you. I certainly am. I am jealous of every thought you give to anyone else; jealous of even a look you may give to another woman. I hope I'll recover as time passes on and I see how mean you are to me. At last we have our Senior Table. We've waited long enough. There is an empty chair left for you, Sweetheart, and I try to imagine you are in it. On Sundays I take the Seniors to church - a different one each week. You never did go to our "nigger church." (No, neither did the seniors!!!)
