George Shumann will write to you one of these days. He is a very nice lad, and I love him just as I do my girls. It is very funny to hear everyone of them speaking of "Pa Reynolds." I have just written to "Cousin Mary Newman Dorr," who seems to be a very remarkable little somebody who would like to mother the entire U. S. Army. She wrote some lovely things about you - none of which I believed, however. Oddly enough, your letter about Macetta arrived on the same mail with one from her. I shall answer it at once.
