New Years Day Dearest. We had to work all day today didn't have any time off sure it too had about this army they hurry up to loaf around. It don't make much difference what Ger thinks that is one reason I don't write much to him because the outfit mills it over and guess a lot more. If they read one of my letters to you they would think I am about ready to commit murder or something. Didn't get anything on a discharge yet they dont know or dont want to tell, they are mean that way. Today being our anniversary it seemed an extra special day I would like to been home to help with the
