her turn. Am confident I'll get along allright because I've had a little instruction and now know what it is like to start from scratch. Of course, Detroit is full of cars and it won't be easy for a beginner to fare such heavy traffic as we have here, even in the days of rubber shortage. Now here is the second point. I have been after Bill to go with me by train to Cedar Rapids the Saturday before Labor Day (we'd arrive in C. R. at 1:20 a.m. on the Challenger Sun) and drive the car back for me. He hasn't given me anything definite yet and must make arrangements for some one to take his work Sat night. He has a tendency to make all plans at the last minute, but perhaps I can get an answer from him soon. If he can't come, I'll have to wait until I get my license and drive it thru myself. However I am planning on Bill's getting off because it would be a great advantage to use my own car while learning;
