Pedagogy. While I was in school, I taught downtown as usual. This August I received my M.A. I expected to teach this year in high school or in a college; in fact, I had four jobs in line, when Charlie Rector hung his fraternity pin on me. He was living in the house next to where I stayed in Evanston. Charlie was a fellowship student at N.U. in chemistry. He came from (DePauw?) U. (his home is in Greencastle) where he held a 4-year scholarship. This July he received his Ph.D. and in August he started his new job in the Chem. lab. of DuPont, in Newark, New Jersey. Soon after he left we set the wedding date - October 17th. It'll take place in Newark with about eight people present. Dad & Mom are coming, but Ede can't. She has been in Puerto Rico since last July, teaching. She taught for a year in a high school, teaching English literature. This summer she held a job at the Univer-
