There is quite a bit of show on the ground. It snowed last night. A little frost flew today too. There is still ice under the snow from last week's rainy sleet. Driving has to be done cautiously, though less hazardous than a few days ago. No mail today. Maybe you didn't get to write, but more likely the service on it got bowled up. By tomorrow night I'll be more tired and so it will be something pleasant to look for mail then. Mrs Baldwin and I took another baby to clinic today. A little shaver 2 years old who sleeps all the time. He even fell asleep when the doctor was examining him. I finished reading "The Robe" a very good book by Lloyd Douglas. It is a fiction story of what could have happened to the robe Jesus wore on the crucifixion day that the Roman soldiers gambled for. It follows both Roman and Bible history very well. You should tell me something of the items you saw at the Smithsonian Institute on the days when you are shy of other things to write. When we can visit in person again we'll be able to cover the rest of it them. The brake holds well on Polly but it doesn't tighten until pretty
