he can follow Tom around & help some. And everything will be new & thrilling to him. Even Rasmus is gone too now. Don't see how Dad & Tom can get everything done. Of course it is too much for Tom. However, I must admit that he looked better last November than I'd ever seen him look. We've been having cold weather here the past week - has been freezing nearly all day today. Fear it has gotten the peaches, but perhaps they were not far along enough to be hurt much. Hope not - with all this rationing. Don't know how people manage who have to buy everything. We still have several hundred jars of home-canned things in cellar, including fruit, vegetables, meat, jelly & pickles. Must close.
