2 that might be of comfort to a young war widow, I do now know. Nothing, I guess. Wars have always been, & it's always the women, wives & mothers especially who have to bear the heavy end. Because action, any action is easier that waiting & worrying. And not until women the world over, have a much larger part in ruling the world will wars cease. Women are realists, & know that nobody gains by war. Perhaps men will find it out some day. Have all the sympathy in the world for the men in service of course & would do anything in my power to hasten a victorious end. But I know you are suffering more than Lloyd, Mama more than Maurice - & so throughout the world. Well, the war news
