January 15, 1943
Dearest,
No letter this morning. I had figured Tuesday's should be here today. I guess it is because I wanted it to get here so bad. Then I thought I could figure pretty sure you got Riley's letter by Wed. morn. and if you wrote to me on Tues. eve it wouldn't be likely they'd move you out in the night. Therefore, you would have good chance of getting wed. mail. So it goes. Maybe you didn't get to write maybe you are already moving, and maybe you have received his letter. I am remembering of course that even if you have receive it you may not be able to get any action at all. I hope they don't just hold it up a long time; but say "no" right off if that is what they intend to do.
