2 as it started. There is ice under the snow and it is hard walking. Mr. Harger shoveled the walk again. Maybe I can make them a chocolate cake or something. Your box of letters came today. But my picture wasn't in it. Maybe the box was too full; maybe you decided to keep it while you are in the states; maybe you are sending more stuff. Time and patience will tell me I suppose! We have a big fire - more than we need but I forgot to shut it off as soon as I had intended to. No letter in the afternoon mail. Maybe there will be something tomorrow. I'll wait on the car brakes as they are still safe enough to drive. I just got concerned if there would be damage if the fluid was too low. I'm glad Esther is here. She
