3 yesterday that she would have had Mr Hodgson if she hasn't been a Methodist church member. Her next choice after him would have been Mr. Anderson. Jimmy Hodgson is still at Camp Beale in Calif. He is a Louie in charge of equipment and weapons in an armored tank outfit. He found desert manoevers very hard, but other assignments haven't been so bad. A very busy day at the office. I got stuck on Wilson Ave and Fred had to come pull the car out. A new case of a girl & baby in the afternoon applications - these two incidents in addition to a regular days work. No big rows or trouble though. Virginia confided how much fellows of town - like Jim I suppose - think of A C Keyes. He is on the ARC board so will act on her application for the job I wouldn't want for even a much better price than $135. The alleged social class of the work appeals to her as real glamorous.
