817-19 St. S.E Cedar Rapids, Iowa January 19,1943 Dearest, I'll not discuss weather much was I'll enclose clippings from the Gazette to do that. I'm getting along fine in spite of the snow and cold weather. The house was 72˚ when I got home and so you see that you taught me well how to build a good fire. and you provided me with good coal to do the job. Mrs Mc Gilvern said when I praised her how good shape I found the fire one day it was easy to get heat when someone provided a good furnace and plenty of coal. So you should get the credit then. Got a lot of book work done at the office today. I went out on two calls but except for that was only interrupted once. I was a little lazy for a while after, I warmed up good from being out, but then I recovered and
