2 got along fine. no letter today. I hope one can come tomorrow, but I wasn't really expecting one today. If you have to go overseas I'll have to get along with just a couple letters. But until them your letters are like you were here in person for a few minutes on the days they come. The last I got on Saturday, written Jan 13. You remember our conversation on the way to D.M. about my being able to understand your letters. Send me any, or all, ideas you have on the subject as soon as possible. You may be overseas before I can get your thoughts in mind the way you want me to, but if you are still here you'll have time to write them plainly and I'll be sure all confusion is gone. with good luck I may may even be able to go visit you again before you leave. Otherwise I may be as mixed up as the lady you know who had weiners and kraut
