3 never know where you will be when my mail gets to you, in what condition you may be. Sometimes it is hard to be a tough war wife, just like it is sometimes hard for you to be tough. It is of no help to your if I am a sissy and would write to you like that. The same about problems that come up. Rose got it off "we can write to Lloyd" and they did. I agreed they could write to you whenever they wished, but they should not forget while writing that it was impossible to say what shape you would be in when you got the letter, nor where you would be. From your letter I'd imagine they didn't care much what your circumstances were. I wish there would be some way for Rose & George to wear our shoes for a while. They don't even know there is a war going on.
