Saving...
2 7:30 Edna got through early and Mrs Hunt and Miss Hartleb of Child Welfare asked me to eat with them. When we got outside to our cars, hers wouldn't turn over. So we went after Red, he came down and fixed a loose connection. Then we ate at the Commonwealth. A pretty good meal but not big enough servings. Then Miss Hartleb had to see about getting her car in a parking lot so she went on. I'm in Mrs Hunt's room writing now. Mrs Hunt is visiting in one of the other roomer's rooms. You'll notice the change of ink. The pen was dry and this is the kind Mrs Hunt has. It is almost a March day but not quite that warm. It is still icy and the snow is still so unmelted that the ground is white. The squarish box you sent came today but no letter. The bath powder shook out so that some things got bath powder on them that never expected to have such luxury!
