Saving...
3 that hurts his nerves and indirectly then his outlook on things. George called tonight. We had the most pleasant conversation I can ever recall with no beefing about anything and no anxieties. Maybe things are going good for him in plans for the farm. Colet talked into the phone real well. I've changed my mind about the mail box for bait. I'll not put up the new box until your first letter comes. Then the new box can be the reward instead of bait. How's that for good logic! Of course I'll be so glad to hear from you, but I'm going well being tough. I wasn't doing so good a while ago and I chanced to pick up the letters you wrote around Christmas time. They (and all your letters, big & little) were so reassuring that it was a fair substitute for current letters.
