4 like they gave me with the dishes last fall I wouldn't have to go through all this long writing! I got them the same place, Pratskas. Then I accidentally met Leone at Killians. She bought a jacket and a dress. I got navy blue slacks. They are a victory material so not so good, but the fit is good. They'll be quite warm. I listened last night to Roosevelts speech. I think you would have approved his war ideas wholehearted and he said them plainly. The big broadcast tonight is to be at 9:15 by Hershey and Mc Nutt. They are supposed to discuss plans on women working in essential jobs as well as men. I mean not the same jobs but as much planning of the "woman power" as man power. We will all be glad to do anything that will end the war sooner. We've got to wine and get it done speedily.
