3 I didn't do much today. I enjoyed the warmth of my slacks. I went to church but have had to do a lot of coal shoveling since last evening. And church was chilly. I stopped at Albertas with that tablecloth we brought from home to fix for mother. Alberta and I cut it up and figured out how to do it, and Alberta is going to do the job. I surely appreciate that as I don't know how and if she taught me I'd be so unhandy at that kind of a stick I would find it too much work to start just now. I take Alberta places and do other things for her so I can make it up that way. And, mother's table cloth will be better fixed too besides sooner completed! Mrs Petrak and Lenore called up. In addition to her usual trouble Mrs Petrak has a bad muscle in her neck-shoulders region. Lenore's ear trouble is better. She has really had a serious condition, but is well on the way of healing now. This morn I called Rulas as I thought I should note Mrs Roger's death. It was
