4 after nine and Teresa answered. I had expected Rose so I said "Hello Rose." She told me it was Teresa that Rose wasn't up. I offered my help to Teresa; thought she might want the boys taken care of and I always got on with Marnie and Roger. She said they were going to Missouri tomorrow and they'd get along. I'm glad I got talk with Teresa herself. She'll remember later we were willing and still didn't pester her. I want to do the considerate thing - not too much nor too little - while you are away as nearly the same as I would if you were here, only I have no one to consult with you away. You never find fault and I hope all the extra things that come up that I try to attend to will be done like you'd ask me to do if you were home. I have done a lot of loafing today. Napped a while. Had expected to write other letters but didn't get at it - "too busy", doing nothing. I surely wish I knew where you are. But I'm glad I can count that where -
