Saving...
2 I feel Dr Steele could help on the patching up enough so that this match would be better for them than any other way of living. If you were home Alberta might have sought your help and you could have known this source of possible help for them. Alberta and Jack I'm sure know of no such help as Dr Steele. and Doris' mother probably never hear of such either. I feel sorry for Alberta and her many disappointments in Bobby. Donna performs as much better from above average as Bobby does below, so that is some consolation. The radio said there was a clothes buying rush yesterday afternoon and evening believed to have been caused by the false rumor of clothes rationing. People are taking food rationing prospects calmly. But I'll bet some people won't count too accurately when they declare their stuff. We will submit an accurate report on our stuff. I have your leather foldered picture on the table before me. I'm in the host's chair and have my writing table. When you get home you will be in this chair and I won't have to set up your picture. I smile sometimes when I think about how we acted when we were both home. Remember my "helping" you talk on the phone, and you "helping" me? And mother smiled over us and was pleased with us as a new family I think. I'll bet you don't have nearly as much "help" clearing up at night and getting into your dress suit as you did at home. You could scarcely get out of the basement, and when you did, there was so much help all along the way that you could scarcely get to supper!
