4 you do good things like that? And I wonder if I ever do things as good as that for you? We always tell things to each other just as they are. So if there are serious problems of course I'll tell you and tell you what I did with them. And you must, will, do the same to the extent censorship allows. Then we'll never have the serious problems of adjustment and understanding each other after we are both home again. We'll know all along what is going on with each other so will never be "out of adjustment." We nor our world will never be the same after this war, but fundamental values endure in both war and peace. Love, understanding, sympathy - the right of all people to enjoy those and other spiritual values are the reason the war is worth fighting. As far as we personally go, we had maturity and love and we are continuing
