2 brightly most of the day. It is almost six o'clock now but it is so light and pretty out one would think it was much earlier in the day. The ice went out Monday and it got the boathouse-pink elephants and all are submerged except for one corner of the building. Jack has his boat inside it too, but the motor had been removed and stored. Jack's partner looked at it an hour before the break=up and thought it would be all right. Joanna may be here this week-end. She left word for me at the office the other day when I was out visiting. If Hazel and Earl ever have a boy it is to be named Lloyd Earl has told Hazel he has always thought if he had a son he'd name it after you. I saw Mrs. Eckert at Killians
