3 Saturday and talked with her for a few minutes. She had just returned from Chicago visiting her daughter and family there. She has been on cases pretty steady lately. Aunt Bessie wrote today. She is at our folk's house now. She just sent a card and said she'd have a letter soon. Cousin Charles may come to Iowa City, but she has not heard yet. The other day I talked with Morge at the Court House. He said he was disappointed you didn't get sent back to Iowa. His boy is still at Fort Warren and is very uneasy that he hasn't been sent overseas. As I write this it seems I told you that the other day. In the three letters I wrote the latter part of January that were returned to me include my mention to you of the sterling infantry insignia I bought. They are tiny crossed rifles
