Saving...
A Glen [Blin?] who lives on the Shonka place about three fourths of a mile south of the farm, he said, called to see if the farm is for rent. I told him I'd give the message to the "boys" and if it is for rent he would be contacted. I'll tell George when I see him. They came to bank night, of course, but called to say they would not be visiting here as they would not be in town early enough before the drawing and it would be too late afterward. Mother seems about the same this evening. She seemed better this morning than when she went to bed last night after being to the doctor. I got ice cream in little tubs for us tonight. Doc told her to eat lots of ice cream; he asked her if she liked it. Pleasant order for her to eat ice cream.
