well and can't go as fast. But at that it has writing in long hand all beaten. Of course it would not take much to beat my long hand! You make it out though, don't you? This is being written on the stationery box on my lap. I'm in the cherry rocker in Mother's bed room and I'm carrying on a conversation with her between rounds of my ideas for this letter. I mowed again, the front too. I have it short enough now so that it ought to all last most a week now. I even pulled out the greenery in the paving cracks I got so neat today! I bought a box of apricots to can. They are still too green but Leon said they raised the wholesale price today and so he advised me not to wait until next week.
