letter here replying to my inquiry about a trip. Now I could not consider Mother taking such a one. She'd have to improve, and steady, and I'm afraid it is the other way. Of course you know she had ups and downs, but there seem downs oftener now. I'll not write more pro or con on a trip until I hear from you now, but it seems almost all cons. We are getting on OK. We wouldn't have problems if we could get Mothers health. I'm so glad I have you, Laddie, and having Mother to care for occupies me usefully. So yours until the next letter.
