I don't understand all about it but that day is something about Mary being taken up to heaven. She has already been anointed like they do for the dying but if the patient becomes well enough again I guess they go back and do all the sacraments again that are suitable (not baptism or marriage of course) until the anointing seems in order again.  At first it seemed to me like we were failing her in her not feeling we weren't praying like her relatives. She didn't say we didn't; it just was that they were. Then I recalled how she always thought there is only one God and He takes into account the separate ways people seek Him and try to do the best possible. We don't count on a God of fear demanding certain ceremonies but One of more love than any of us are capable of giving and One who operates the world on self
