About 5:30 I went back for Mrs. Redmond to get her lunch and George was there. He decided to visit before he went home so there would not be the terrible hurry to get back. Mother was having an attack of bad pain then and so had just had a hypo. She wanted us and thought when we had stepped out to the porch we were gone. Of course the nurse got us back. She told us we were good children, she was so sick and she did not want every body trying to make her stay alive. She said she was ready to go, was happy over the thought and that is what she wanted now, the sooner the better she would like it. Her pulse got weak then but the rate was the same Mrs. Redmond said. Pretty soon the drug got the pain cut down and she was quiet
