Saving...
5 adjustments along the way. It is twelve now and I still want to go and mail this and the green car is out in front chomping to go. I hope my letters, or parts of them, never make you feel low. If any type of thing I do, or say in my letters ever does, be sure to tell me so I won't needlessly make you suffer in the future. Sometimes I think I should not own up how hard it is for me to be tough, but you know it anyway. Nobody but you realize my weakness, and nobody ever helped me over bad feelings like you do. My joys have never been as great or my sorrows as small as when I shared either of them with you. Another letter to you tomorrow, laddie. Goodnight, dear. (I'll consider myself spanked now.) Love Laura
