Saving...
3 at very great length about his kin in the war and conditions in civilian life. He didn't say a think we didn't know, but it was a nice conversation. He asked me a lot of questions about our children's program. He had noticed our various announcements in the paper. On Wednesday afternoon of this week I gave the case work class at Coe the lecture on child welfare in Iowa. I was a student in that course eight years ago under the same teacher, Miss Salter. I couldn't really realize it was that long ago until I saw the students, then they, looked so young! The younger they are (they seem), the more proof one has been out of school a long time! The kids were very attentive and asked good questions, so it was a pleasant job in spite of the work to do it.
