5 to those strains are certainly missing life. Selfish looking out to avoid any unpleasantness or hardship makes a dwarfed life. I'd rather be your lesser half and concerned for your welfare than be alone and untouched so vitally by the war. Lives of ease and comfort are apt to be lives of dullness. It seems to me I understand so much better now about families and problems of living. I am impressed how little I must have known when I first started as a visitor, yet I was considered passable for the job. If every five years learn as much more as I have in the past five, I'm sure life will always be interesting. You are the best of all of that. Love, Laura
