We think spinsters and bachelors miss a lot of real life. Childless marriages as a deliberate choice and held out as a real goal of accomplishment of "getting by" seem to me equal to spinsterhood in lacking real life experiences. Of course, lots of conditions, some we can control and some we can't have to enter in to whether we can be parents, and whether a child would have a chance (and therefore whether we have a right to make some child have us for parents).
