Saving...
6 I'm such a lucky girl laddie. I have a good husband. Today when I was dictating to my stenographer you seemed to be looking from your photo, to be looking at the papers on the desk and attending to me. It is foolish imagining, I know, but so real and so nice too. In the night last night you seemed so close too. And it is always good company when you come these ways, there is never anything unpleasant or sad about it. I try to talk all along like we would. This letter has some problems in it - the tile etc - but I'm not telling you any of these things as troubles. They are a report of how things are. I'm glad to be here to deal with them for you, for us. Was out to the stop. Wanted more dynamite boxes and kegs for my kids. Jake will fix them - Joe saves them. Talked with Sprague and Jake just a few minutes. All for this letter. I love you so. Laura
