Saving...
down to the P.O. and hope it isn't too late to get on the "Union Pacific". The things you told me over and over about how you felt about me, our marriage, our courtship and so on are so pleasant to think about now. They seem to be the only bright things left for me. I'm proud of you and thankful we are man and wife. If it should work out I can visit you and maybe someday even go where you are stationed that will be wonderful. I know it is your love and concern for me that keeps you from urging something that might or might not be a good place and plan for me. If we are patient and decent and try, we will get things worked out well. To the best of all husbands, goodnight, Laddie. Love Laura
