Saving...
4 Kate Engle Montague had her half day off this morn and was in the office. Her Ernie is still at Rockford so she goes there most week-ends. She does not know how long he'll stay there but they are appreciating it now. I have done fair about being tough when alone, and excellently in public. The memory of your sympathy and understanding and sharing of feelings helps a lot, laddie. If we can ever beat this separation business some way and be together again it will certainly be appreciated by us, won't it? We'll be more gratefully and noticing of ordinary happinesses that many people miss, when we can be home together. Don't you think so? And we always saw some of them other people seemed to miss. Goodnight, laddie Love Lloyd
