Saving...
Tomorrow I'm through at noon. I'll at least have more time to do things at home. It remains to be seen whether I do or not! Weighed at the clinic today and was 120#, same as when I left here last fall. I think that's a good joke. Right after I weighed Bertha jumped me about my skinny figure and asked what I weighed. I told her 120 and that really stopped her jabber. Nobody knows apparently that bone and muscle weigh more and take up less space than flabby fat! Aunt Min and Alberta have come and gone. Aunt Min is fine and has only three more teeth of her uppers to be extracted. Harry Jr. is stationed with the coast guard and camped in a city park in Wash D.C. He described the country, equipment and stuff in glowing terms and big adventure so they are all happy over that. Alberta thinks you are getting "a big kick" out of it. Of course it would be silly to put on a long face and moan, but I'll bet you could have adventure more pleasantly! You and I always got so much pleasure out of doing plain things and going off and digging up interesting things ourselves, and so many people can't do that. And we'd study up on them afterwards in things. Still rough in public, a little bit sissy here alone. Goodnight laddie. Love Laura
