Saving...
3 The radio just said 600,000 men according to Patterson are now over seas and hundreds more are going. I guess we all know about that if we don't know the exact figures. The news of Russia still holding out so well and so long is certainly good. The Port Moresby news is not so good. Emily has asked Earl and Hazel and me over for supper tomorrow. Her suppers are always 2 or 3 meals rolled into you. I took Dilley to Amana tonight for supper. Thought we would have variety that way. She wanted to go to one of the places I'd never been to and when we got there it wasn't operating any more. So we went to another hotel near that neither of us had visited before and the meal wasn't very good. Next time we'll go to one of the joints I know, like those you and I have been to, then we'll know. Mrs Dilley and I did a lot of visiting and had a good time. We won't have to gas to do things like that much longer. The coffee marks came back still on my skirt so I called New Process and asked about it. They said they'd be glad to try some more, but couldn't promise as coffee is a dye in effect and blue is a delicate color. It isn't terribly prominent, yet still there, even though cleaned once.
