haven't washed them yet. They came in a box with straw, paper shreds, and excelsior. It took some time to get them out, the mess cleaned up, and the box of packing stowed away in the attic. I think you'll like them. Does being a rifle company next cycle mean that is the type of unit you may get assigned to rather than machine gunning when basic is over? Or does it mean just another special set of training as part of inf. basic like machine guns were? I hope [Hahn?] gets the right decision made. If they are like us, they will be glad to be married.
