service etc of course we do not know. We hope for good news but we can't tell. The ordinary hazards of peace time living are uncertain enough, but all of us living in these days is even different. I'm wondering how we can divide up and settle so that the estate can be closed next year after the legal term of six months is up. Geo has to get along and be subject to the advice of the Rulas. I think it has already been obvious the Rula slant can complicate things in a hurry. The chief items of the estate are the farm, the house, and the investments. Would the farm and part of the moneys be one part and the house and the proportion of the moneys necessary to balance the first be one way to divide it? Or the house and farm for one part and moneys the other one's share. The value in money & stuff will be listed by Churchill soon to the court in an inventory. I don't bank on George and Rose as our partners in business with their having complete satisfaction for long. I don't mean big rows, though in years ahead I could imagine them, but I mean the debating and consulting they always do would be a constant worry about how they were going to feel about things.
