Saving...
warm, I had a good swim. While listening to the radio I hemmed one tea towel. I'm doing some practice so I can sew the new napkins nicely when I get to it and feel I can make nice stitches. Can't have the grandchildren wondering why grandma couldn't sew! I wrote Sue a letter too this afternoon. Any letter besides yours that I get written is a little different than usual. The only letter that seems important is yours. It always seems like it is the nearest to companionship with you that I can have now besides in thoughts. I have them any, and all times and not just when I write, as you know. When you are here I always like to do things for you and with you. Writing the letter is for you, one of the few things left I can do for you. The with you part has to be in thoughts, and prayers. Maybe by the Sunday after this I'll be with you. Do you suppose it really will work out that way? Hazel goes on vacation, for a week, today. She is saving her second week for later, maybe when she gets married. Earl hasn't been notified yet what class he is since the 1B class has been abolished. Hazel is thinking of December 31 as a date. It is her parents anniversary then. I'll have to get my plants in this week, I fear frost may really catch us any time now. Guess I'll ask Mrs Prichard or Earl over to advise me.
