Saving...
Haviland was worth. Rose said she was glad she wasn't having to do the estate business. So they ought to both continue being pleased and not get side tracked on any silly ideas. It takes so much talk and explaining to get stuff aired for them, but it is worth it if they are better pleased. And I'm glad Rose comes too as then she knows everything is consulted. And all Mothers clothes suitable for Edna, Edna will wear. The rest we'll give to the Salvation Army. They'll come over again this week if I set a date besides Tues and Fri. and we won't have to much talk to explain then so we ought to really be able to pile up the stuff in a heap that they will be taking home. I want everything I can divided this week so that if we run on to any puzzles I'll know what they are and be able to ask you about them when I see you. Laddie, Thurs & Fri letters were both delivered today. And such good ones. I know it wasn't very pleasant to have a furlough alone and how I wish I could have been with you. But I'm pleased you earned the leave and proud of your performance. I'm glad Spartanburg isn't too terrible a place because if you didn't get moved I might want to come back and stay there. I don't believe you'll go before I get there. But I won't wait until the week-
