Today was a hard day as far as my work went as I had a very trying case of an eviction that I worked on from 9:00 am to 2:30 (15 min lunch) before I had the family under one roof and their household possessions planned for under another and Mr "Garden" Smith and the work relief boys moving the stuff with the red pick-up. But everything works out if you hold on to temper and reel off the talk until you get whatever is necessary. Chas Bues is trying to get into the marines, I haven't quite recovered as he was such a sissy, but I never saw him looking in better physical condition than today. Maybe his wife is a better influence for him than all the various girl friends were. Read you letter while I stopped for a hasty snack at home. Have reread it too but will be doing that again when I go to bed. If we are lucky in ten days I'll be there. Then for a couple days we will have something better than letters alone. And a vacation from writing letters too. Only it is nice to write them when we can't be together.
