Saving...
gave me a chance to indicate I wasn't interested if I wanted to. It was the last Tues of September of that year and while this isn't the last Tues this year I know it was in the middle twenties and not Sep 30, the date of the last Tues this year. I was so surprised and thrilled when you told me what you remembered one night after we had counted 100 instead of 1. That was so long ago and we don't seem to me the same people now. Instead that we are grown up now, are richer and fuller by living and have so much more sympathy and understanding. Yet love was the key, don't you think, that opened up the newness, the joy and finally the maturity and understanding! Yet we are the same people, your smiling blue eyes and pleasant face, and my wild brown hair and rather reckless nature or manner or something. All for this letter, laddie, dear. To my husband, Goodnight. Love, Laura [smiley face doodle]
