came down to the office, figuring I'd save time and mileage that way and let my letter off earlier. I may work here a bit too before I go as I don't feel too tired. Geo brought the truck over. You didn't get your signature on those blanks witnessed so I'll bring more blanks when I come. A notary public or a superior officer has to witness your signature. But I'll turn in the plates and speak to the girl about that and we can mail the completed blanks to the Treasurers office direct. Had a big phone talk with Rose tonight. They are all still in the same doubtful health. But they will get along as it isn't any unusual thing. I wrote Maurice tonight so if there is any chance to see him he will write us in South Carolina. Still haven't found Petty. Board meeting tomorrow so may get it done then. All for tonight. To my husband, Love, Laura [smiley face doodle]
