Leone and Jack met me at the train. I was on the City of Denver. It seems they met the train on Sun eve and then when I didn't come decided I'd have to be on the C of D on the 14th if I were going to work on the 15th. It was good to be met and so unexpected. They had kept the newspapers etc off the porch for me and had the mail all in order. Leone said she read the Pathfinders! In Chi I got supper with Sue; I walked over to the College after I got my stuff to the Northwestern Station and my seat on the C of D. Maurice had gone on the train at 2 that morning. So she saw two of her family in a very short time. Our visit was short but good while it lasted. The wedding announcement of Bess Henderson came yesterday to us. I think she'll write soon and then I can send our present to them after the
