I'm sure I'd get work of some kind. Would I ever get to see you? And could you live out if we could get a room close enough to camp? I wouldn't have a very comfortable time I know and I'd not want to be near you if it was a worry to you. But I'm sure I could "take it" under a lot of handicaps and make some kind of home for you even if we couldn't live together all the time. I know the chances you'll have to find out much will be small but time is important not only for a decision to Red Cross but to serve notice to Mrs Hunt and to perhaps beat it eastward before gas rationing begins about Nov 20. If I drove the car I'd have it for work and I'd be able to bring household linens and stuff without packing anything for express. If you go overseas I'd try to get with Red Cross then and
