2 Jewel and Richard came this evening. We had a lot of visiting. I served them pecan crisps with coffee. He is a heavy coffee drinker. His father is a cousin of some kind to Lumir Blohnik, Alice's husband. It will be nice when you can be host in your own home. They didn't go until eleven : 15 so I am not going out now to mail this. I had only the first page done when they came. I'll mail it in the morning. Since you are out on drill this should be waiting in the pile for you even if it doesn't go until morning. I talked to Mrs. Fisher tonight. Her brother died last week. She told me all about some kin and their operations and I hadn't the faintest idea who they were. But I was a good listener, anyway.
