the job of getting the curtains etc. put back. Went shopping for a floor lamp and groceries. Got my lunch and supper at home as well as making the cake. So you see I had something doing all the time. But I'd have enjoyed it all if I could have been doing it for you. But it is something to do to make things seem more like life is as usual, so you would want me to make the effort for that. Then I'll always be in the habit so I can easily and happily set at the job of your home when you get back to it. It is your home when you are away too, and I'm all the more (if possible) your wife as you are always in my mind and my plans.
