leave. If you don't get back to Meade until Saturday, the first thing you should receive is my wire. You may not even have this letter, but I think you should get it on Friday. I have read and reread several times your letter. It seems you are definite that there will be a leave but how soon after you return from the field problem seems uncertain. If it is right after you return and I am there we'll have all the time together that much sooner. If it is later, we'll see each other two spells instead of one. This is what I want to do so I hope it won't spoil any plan you have. And I do hope I'm not disappointing you in any
