eleven twenty five. I thought since it was still raining I'd take a cab home. But all the cabs seemed to be loading for other parts of the city. so then I got a street car. The one I got had a real decent conductor & so I got my transfer made real easily in front of that big gray stone bldg we wondered whether it was n armory or not. Remember? I asked the landlady yesterday and she told me it was the armory. So my trip home was easy and about as quick as a cab -- and cheaper. The landlady said she hated to see us go and I don't think it was not all apple sauce either. We were in good luck to get such an agreeable lady. She didn't charge me for the daytime today either and many would because I hadn't left by noon. She has more roomers coming tonight. It seems so good and natural to
